The MAD Summer Movie Spectacular

The MAD Summer Movie Spectacular kicks off with the film that invented the Summer Blockbuster, Stephen Spielberg's JAWS. Not only is JAWS the first movie to ever earn over 100 million dollars upon its initial release, it is the movie that convinced the major studios to star producing their own B-movies. Spielberg terrorized a nation with his tale of a man-eating mechanical shark munching on swimmers off the beaches of Amity Island. For 48 summers JAWS has lost none of its power to captivate an audience and make them fear the water. The MAD Summer Movie Spectacular is every Thursday night in June and July. The Auditoriums open at 6:00 pm and the movies start at 6:30 pm. Food and drink are allowed in the Auditoriums during the movies. Treats will be provided by our summer movie sponsor, Renasant Bank.
